Job description

Our client is looking for Controls Engineers to join the EMEA Controls Engineering Team. In this role you will focus on engineering the controls systems for equipment for customers in a wide array of industries, ranging from logistics and material handling to packaging lines for consumer products. Our customers are well-known brands and you will work on interesting and important projects that will have a direct impact globally. What will you do? Build customer specific controls systems for innovative conveyance solutions on a project basis Interpret client specifications and translate them into the design of the control system Configure and maintain software for control systems that include field devices such as photo eyes, shaft encoders, pneumatics, motors, VFDs, etc. Configure and maintain electrical control panel layouts and schematics on a project basis Commission equipment in the shop, and occasionally in the field at the customer site Support customers with troubleshooting the controls system in case of issues

Requirements

You have a creative mindset; tailor make solutions without losing sight of delivering high quality work Flexible to adapt to change and optimistic by nature. Ideally you are a sound automation engineer and know your way around Software like Siemens TIA portal, Allen Bradley studio 5000 and AutoCAD electrical. Ability to solve technical problems through collaborations with peers. For this position we require you have a relevant education. This could be a master’s degree, experience on the job, and everything in between. If you think you have what it takes, let us know. Proficiency in English is essential but improving fluency can be gained through supported training. Proficiency in Dutch is a plus. Some international travel will be required (<5%)

The company is one of the world's largest producers of modular synthetic conveyor belts. They have locations in the US, the Netherlands, Brazil, Japan, England, and Australia. Their head office in the Netherlands is in Amsterdam and they have had a location open up in Wehl in 2020 as well.
