Job description

As a Mechanical Engineer Robotics & Vision, you are responsible for designing new robots and improving existing robot systems. These robots are often used to process food (such as bread and pizzas) in an efficient and sustainable manner. Based on your expertise, you are the technical sparring partner of the Sales Manager and you think along about solutions to robotize processes for the customer. As soon as an order has been won, you analyze the customer's functional specifications and translate them into technical specifications. You then convert this into a technical design and a plan for detail engineering (which is further elaborated by the detail engineer). In addition, you are responsible for solving technical problems and improving the performance of robot systems. Your challenge It is your challenge to contribute with your technical expertise to the development of Robotics & Vision systems in the field of Food Handling. You get energy from introducing new techniques and technologies to increase the added value of the organization.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in mechanical engineering,robotics or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of work experience in engineering;
  • Affinity with robot systems;
  • Experience with a 3D drawing package (for example PTC Direct Modeling or Inventor);
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
