Our program

This is the outlined process of our International program:

  1. Intake via Skype
  2. Intake in the Netherlands, conversation with the company
  3. Arranging all the details
  4. Arriving in the Netherlands, housing arranged by JAWS
  5. Getting Dutch language- and culture lessons
  6. Support from JAWS throughout your first months with the company
  7. Becoming part of the company

1. Intake via Skype

We will arrange one or multiple Skype interviews to see what your wishes are and find out what the possibilities are.

2. Intake and/or trial in the Netherlands

If the company is initially interested, you are welcome to come to the Netherlands. JAWS will provide accomodation and will potentially join you during your conversations with the company. Frequently, this conversation is paired with one, or multiple days of trial at the company. In these days, you can both determine whether this is a good position for you.

3. Arranging all the details

As soon as there is a ‘yes’ from both the company and you, JAWS will hire you on a so called ‘deta-vast’ contract. This means you will start with a contract with JAWS. The intention of the company will be to hire you after a period of working on this contract. When this amount of hours is over, you will be on contract with the company.
JAWS is fully aware of all the rules and regulations regarding hiring international staff and will arrange all of the legal aspects for you. If you have any questions, you will always be welcome to call us or to come in for a coffee.

4. Arriving in the Netherlands, housing arranged by JAWS

As soon as you arrive in the Netherlands to start your job, housing will be arranged by JAWS. We offer our own houses which can be occupied by international talents. So you have guaranteed housing in the area. It can happen that there are initially no available spots in the houses, in this case we arrange a temporary solution for you, along with you and your future employer.

5. Getting Dutch language- and culture lessons

JAWS will set you up with language and culture lessons in the region as soon as possible. It is not always possible to do this immedeatly, at times a few weeks to a few months of waiting is required.

6. Support from JAWS throughout your first months with the company

Throughout your first period here, you might have quite some questions. We will have frequent contact with you, depending on your needs. We will help you through your first months and will advise and help you in any way possible.

7. Become part of the community!

You get the chance to become part of an actual international community, full of international talent, working in the area. A nice way to get to know people and to speak to peers!
