Job description

As a Software Engineer (Robotics & Vision), you will focus on creating complex systems for processing and/or packaging products. This involves employing advanced technology, including 2D and 3D vision systems with image processing software, coupled with robot and industrial control systems. As a Software Engineer (Robotics & Vision), you will play a key role in control engineering and commissioning of robotic applications.

Requirements

Who are we looking for?

  • You possess at least a completed University of Applied Sciences or University degree, preferably in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Automation.
  • Preferably, you have an affinity for or relevant experience in machine engineering.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for on-site software testing with customers (approximately 25%).
  • You are flexible, eager to learn, and take responsibility for your work.
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a plus.
  • Experience with programming systems such as TIA Portal, Studio 5000, and programming Robots (ABB, Yaskawa, or similar).
  • Experience with higher programming languages such as C# and vision systems like LMI is a plus.
