Throwback Thursday: Our pancake-party in 2019!

Wow, time flies (nice cliché, we know). But these photos were taken almost five years ago! Back on June 13, we invited all employees and their partners to our location in Terborg. With a very good reason: we organized a pancake evening to introduce the international employees to Dutch food culture.

And it was a hit! While many countries already have their own versions of pancakes (like roti, crêpes, and blinis), everyone was pleasantly surprised by our traditional, old-Dutch pancakes. Jurgen did a great job in the kitchen, baking a total of at least 50 pancakes, while Rein, Jorn, and Bregke kept everyone happy with a steady stream of fresh pancakes. Served with syrup and powdered sugar, of course, and for those who wanted, pineapple, ham, cheese, and bacon were also available. Meanwhile, there was chatting and we held a quiz.

We definitely think it’s worth repeating! 😋
